At HTA we are always looking at ways we can give back to the community so at a recent conference when we were introduced to Buy 1 Give 1 (a.k.a B1G1 Businesses for Good), we knew this was perfect for us!
So what is ? It’s a Social Enterprise with a mission to create a world that’s full of giving. Unlike conventional giving models, B1G1 helps small and medium sized businesses achieve more social impact by embedding giving activities in their everyday business operations.
Since it started it’s operation in 2007, there are over 1,300 Business Partners in more than 70 countries. With the help of those Business Partners, the B1G1 initiative has created more than 74 million giving impacts. Put another way, that’s more than 70 million SMILES.
As you can imagine, we were greatly moved by the B1G1 initiative and are excited to of signed on as a B1G1 Giving Partner. Over the coming months we will be implementing our Giving Stories into the everyday business of HTA.
