We are thrilled to share some fantastic news with you all today – our very own Julie has been promoted to the role of Associate Director at HTA! Please join us in celebrating this incredible achievement and applauding Julie’s dedication, hard work, and significant contributions to our company since 2011.
Julie’s journey with HTA began in a unique and unexpected way. She crossed paths with Tim our CEO through a family friend, leading to a fortuitous meeting during lunch where Julie worked at the time. Fresh out of her accounting degree, Julie was exactly what HTA was looking for in a graduate, and the rest is history.
Her journey at HTA has been marked by unwavering dedication and hard work. Very early on, Julie realised her deep connection with the team and her clients, a testament to the strong relationships she has built over the years. Julie’s commitment to her clients, particularly her close relationship with Rod Penaluna, has been outstanding. Being able to watch his business grow into what it is today has been one of her proudest achievements at HTA.
One of Julie’s favourite memories includes the unforgettable trip to Bali in 2014 with Tim and Troy. Despite the challenges posed by a volcano and delayed flights, they not only persevered but also brought home a prestigious award.
On this same Bali trip, her journey with the Lungitude Foundation began as she found herself sharing a taxi with Gordon Jenkins (now a client of HTA). Julie has been the treasurer of the Lungitude Foundation for many years now, and it’s clear that her impact extends beyond the professional realm, touching the lives of those she works with and cares about.
This brings us to our next big announcement… drum roll please! We are thrilled to announce the growth of our business with the addition of a new office location in Queensland! Julie will be playing a pivotal role as Associate Director of HTA Queensland, and can’t wait to nurture an exceptional team culture for the new office. She humorously contemplates “borrowing” a few Melbourne team members during the winter months.
Julie’s journey outside of work reflects her dedication to family, as she spends quality time with her loved ones at the zoo and the beach. A master in the kitchen, she enjoys cooking her favourite dishes like lasagna and pasta (from scratch of course) whenever time permits.
Julie, your journey with HTA has been nothing short of inspiring, and we can’t wait to see you embrace this role as you progress to Partner of HTA in the near future.
Stay tuned for further updates regarding our new Queensland location!
