We are on the lookout for exceptional individuals to join our team during this exciting phase of expansion.
OVERALL OBJECTIVE
You will provide accounting support to the Senior Accountants
and Assistant Managers while building the skills to manage your own
client portfolio, beginning with individual clients.
The Role
As Intermediate Accountant at HTA, you will be:
- Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and activity statements.
- Produce management reports that add real value to clients and allow them to make better business decisions.
- Work with a diverse client base across a broad range of industry sectors.
- Build experience to manage and administer your own portfolio of clients.
- Work in a team reporting directly to the Partner.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business, specialising in accounting
- 2+ years experience in public practice accounting
- CPA or CA studies commenced or completed
- Strong knowledge of taxation legislation
- Willingness to learn and develop your financial craft
- A love for technology
- Xero certification with an understanding of payroll
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office programs
- Strong client service skills
